Basic characteristics
Minor specialization Logistics – International Transport and Freight Forwarding is focused on logistic system strategy, especially on its establishment and reengineering, supply chain management, international transport and freight forwarding including transport term and conditions, Trans European Transport Network, EU transport policy, complementary services, customs issues, dedicated contracts etc. Minor specialization was created in coordination with American universities and logistic managers of leading international companies.

Graduates are employed in logistic departments of production and trading companies and also by carriers, transport operators, freight forwarders, logistic service providers, etc. High quality of graduates knowledge and skills is also achieved due to lectures rich cooperation to wide range of companies and logistics associations. Study is built in order the content is compliant with the managerial educational programs of  International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) and International Road Transport Union (IRU)   and also follows the requirements for European Logistic Association (ELA) certification. Students could source from high quality publications, made by lectures, which have been awarded and highly accepted not only in The Czech Republic but also in abroad.

Selected students could participate in six month internship in DHL Supply Chain UK  and so deepen their knowledge and skills.

None
Completion of course 3LG211 Logistics is appreciated but not obligatory.
